May 10-13 (Thursday thru Sunday) 1st Weekend
This is the ideal weekend for those that may not want to come when the crowds are here. This weekend, which is also Mothers Day weekend, is a collaborative effort on all area businesses to promote themselves with indoor special events including bookings for special live performances, celebrity appearances, food and drink specials, indoor contests, free giveaways and a classic car show. Many businesses will open their doors or have extend hours.
May 14-20 (Tuesday thru Sunday) County wide recognized Rally dates
This week will be the busiest for the cruising rider with a majority of event locations to visit. Businesses all around Horry County, from Little River to Murrells Inlet will put on their big parties. County will issue vendor permits for this week. This week will expand the events from the first weekend to include bike runs, outdoor entertainment, and charity events. New this year starting Friday the 18th Myrtle Beach Harley Davidson kicks of "Cruisin' The Coast™" rally events which will include some charity events, bike runs and events. May 21-28 (Monday thru Memorial Day Weekend)
Atlantic Beach JUST added the 21st thru the 25th to their weekend rally dates. The overlapping of the Atlantic Beach and Harley weeks could be a great blending of new and traditional activities throughout the Grand Strand. The Atlantic Beach Bike Fest event includes food and product vendors all around the Atlantic Beach area just north of Myrtle Beach. New this year Myrtle Beach Harley Davidson will continue with more rally events. Other area businesses including Jamin' Leather will join in on the fun by adding a series of indoor activities along with other events.

We welcome Motorcycle Dealers, antique or custom Bike Builders to display their bikes (possibly for free), as well as Street Performers that wish to showcase their talent for tips during the rally. There is a stage on site for all performers interested.

Fall Rally 2011 September 28-Oct 2nd - A wonderful resurgence of shoppers and visitors coming back to the Grand Strand to enjoy all the activities that the area had to offer. Many business were quite excited over the increases over last year and to some were up almost 40%. It appears that the area and business for our biker community is much stronger than the outspokenness of the selected loudmouths that want to run the rallies and business away from this tourist town. Jamin' Leather held is 2nd Annual Ms Skanky Ho Contest (see highlight links on left) and we couldn't stop laughing the whole time. Jamin' Leather raised just shy of $5000 for the American Red Cross at their charity Auction. The Carolina Bad Boys Comedy put on a great show all week. Jamin' Leather had lots of winners and losers with all our fun and games for our final farewell of our old location in Surfside Beach. Now we are conveniently located on 17 bypass just south of the airport. So come and visit the new facility.
Spring Rally 2011 May 12-22 - A bright and successful event and all went off without a hitch. Tons came out to see the Ms Bike Rally 2011 here at Jamin' Leather. Congratulations to Ms Bike Rally 2011 winner was Chelsea McCulloch. Photos of her have been taken for future Jamin' Leather Catalog release and new website products. Scavenger Hunt was fun, traveling around the beach looking for trinkets that Event Guide advertisers were giving away. Almost 100 t-shirts were given away during the week here at Jamin' Leather. The FREE comedy show by the Carolina Bad Boys was hilarious and drew the largest comedy crowd yet. The Pre-Rally Car show brought over 60 classic and custom cars to check out. Dozens of people took advantage of our free services like snap repair and zipper pulls. And lastly, our charity auction benefitting the American Red Cross generated $4,605 from the auction, charity walks, bingo and jars at the registers. Thanks t all that had come and enjoyed the week with us.
