Love In Action

Founded by Clara Barton in 1881 the American Red Cross has served in every major war and disaster providing much needed care to allied troops home and abroad. The Red Cross continues to serve wherever and whenever there is a call for emergency care in times of disaster. They are as much a part of the Myrtle Beach is as a hand to a gesture. Caring for needy after Hugo, supplying blood, food, water, clothing, medical supples and housing.

Since 2003 Jamin' Leather has proudly donated thousands of dollars worth of leather products turning over to the Red Cross 100% of the proceeds raised. The last three years alone the auction has raised:

Spring 2007: $9557.00
Fall 2006: $5741.00
Spring 2006: $6,415.00
Fall 2005: $5,078.00
Spring 2005: $7,736.00

Jamin' Jamie MC and auctioneer extraordinaire tirelessly presents product after product for the semi annual charity auction for the ARC.

Beginning this year there will be an opportunity to donate blood at one of the Red Cross mobile units at Jamin' Town

Jamin' Leather auctions are the place to be during bike week. The auctioneer is definitely quite a character and the atmosphere is that of a good ol' time. Plus the deals that you can get with the actual leather is a steal by any standards. The volunteer models lighten up the mood as well and its all for charity, so that's cool too. I know for sure that I'll be there this year, just like the last four rallies.
